Luka Chuppi Movie Review Hit or Flop :
‘Luka Chuppi’ is a situational comedy from the beginning. And the situation in question is to live in relationships.
What starts as news for a local Guddu reporter, becomes his own love story with fun complications.
But along the traffic are a number of other social problems such as misogyny, gender inequality, caste bias and moral surveillance that are approached in a fun and harmless way.
However, there is hardly a dull moment in the movie that never takes itself too seriously.
As a newcomer, director Laxman Utekar does a good job of throwing a lot of extravagant characters in unusual situations.
Starting with the hero of the movie, Kartik Aaryan, who looks too polished for his small-town character, but on the way, you’ll soon start to cheer him up.
Whether he is covering a story or running to cover himself, Kartik exudes an endearing charm that is relatable.
The same goes for Kriti. With all its beauty and poise, portrays the character of a girl next door without being exaggerated.
However, the curious thing is that the two stand out as the only beautiful couple in the entire city, with the perfect touch of makeup and hair at all times.
Their chemistry is not exactly crackling, but it’s pretty easy, which works well for the narrative.
While Aparshakti Khurana appropriately interprets supportive friend Abbas, there is a notable lack of sufficient comic strikes in his dialogues.
Public Review on Movie Luka Chuppi
Pankaj Tripathi, a regular in this genre, is largely wasted on a paper that could have been recorded in much more detail.
The rest of the actors have the opportunity to contribute generously.
Be it the eccentric members of Guddu’s joint family or the political father of Rashmi, who uses his power to unite against inconsequential issues.
But what really makes ‘Luka Chuppi’ an entertaining watch is the nuanced writing of Rohan Ghoge and his execution.
The first half is fast and full of fun moments that end in an unpredictable turn.
The second half is also marked by quite a few moments of laugh out loud.
At some point, the humor becomes repetitive, but it is the short time that comes to the rescue of the film.
The two most popular songs in the film (Coca-Cola and poster) are released at the end, during the credits roll.
In general, ‘Luka Chuppi’ is a fun journey that never becomes too preachable or uncomfortable for the family audience. He is a clean artist with a message that is not too strong, but of course, sure.
